Decreased Dramatically
The Situation
At the end of 2007, I was stressed beyond belief. My total credit card debt reached over $24,000 and I was at the end of my rope with the way the debt incurred was so depressing. I called DebtWave to see if they could help me. They gave me some quick budgeting advice and told me I qualified for a program that would get me out of debt in less than 4 years. I was skeptical at first since it almost sounded too good to be true. But since the payment fit into my budget and they had a good reputation, I decided to give it a shot.
The Results:
Within the first two months, I saw my interest rates decrease dramatically on some of my accounts. I was extremely excited when I saw my largest balance account go from 30% down to 7%! After about two years into the program, I saw my first account get paid in full. From there I rolled that payment over to another one of my creditors and saw that account get paid off within a few months. I continued to roll my payments over and it was great to see how quick accounts were getting paid off at that point.
This month (October 2011), I am making my final payment to DebtWave! I cannot believe this time has come. I am so happy that DebtWave saved me! Wow!!! Wow!!! Wow!!! I can say nothing more than many thanks to your company. What a wonderful, wonderful moment this is for me......thanks to you and your professional guidance, advice and encouragement!!!

A troublesome burden
was lifted from my shoulders...
After visiting several companies in my local area, I felt like I was treated as an irresponsible person and received a slap on my hand and a “shame on you” type of attitude from the people I originally spoke with. I needed help not a lecture.
The Situation
Our debt was not due to buying lavish items, expensive dinners, and going on expensive trips. The reason for our debt was because our home burned to the ground and we were underinsured. With two young children, daycare to pay, bills to pay, food to buy, and a home to rebuild, I went to using credit card to purchase clothes, furniture, appliances, etc. (the “basics” we once had). It is amazing how fast using credit cards can get out of hand and scary too; a lesson learned.
The Results:
When I called DebtWave in 2004, I spoke with a representative who was helpful, kind, considerate and truly wonderful to work with. I was treated with respect. I appreciate everyone and the help you have given me. You have made my life so much easier and in the past five years, I have never really “worried” about my debt; I knew it was being taken care of. Times have been tough. I have had many sleepless nights and my debt has always been in the back of my mind. I have been working two jobs for the past five years, one full time and one part time just to keep head. I was thinking after the holiday season, I may go back to just “one” full time job.
