As a part of our ongoing effort to get you out of debt and help you stay out
of debt, we believe that knowledge is the main factor in reaching these
goals. To help you gain this knowledge, we offer a few study guides followed
up with a couple quick tests at no cost to you. Not only will this knowledge help you make stronger financial decisions in the future, you can
also add a positive statement to your credit report file with all three
credit bureaus. Upon successful completion of the Financial Education Program, we will give you the tools necessary to contact the credit bureaus
to have this statement added to your credit report. This statement can help
show the lenders that you have taken a responsible step in improving your
financial situation.
To complete the Financial Education Program please read the three booklets
provided by our Education Department: Building Wealth, Knowing and
Understanding Your Credit, and Borrowing Basics What You Don't Know Can Hurt
You. There is a 40-question test that follows. A passing score is 35 or more correct answers.
